Gianna and Jimmy started dating December of their senior year of high school. Unsure of what would come when they would go to separate colleges the following summer, they ultimately decided to stay together. Staying loyal to one another and passing the long distance test with flying colors, they finished their freshman year of college. Less than one week into their summer break, they found themselves in a life threatening accident. (You all know the story) Fast forward a few years, a pandemic, some virtual college graduations, starting their careers, and moving in together, they got engaged and shortly after bought a house. After spending a year in their engagement era, they decide that they have overcome much bigger obstacles than a Friday the 13th wedding. Buckle up and grab your passport, we are going to St. John!

Deana, or as Gianna and Jimmy call her, "Bean",  is the bride's younger sister. Much like Beans from Even Stevens Deana was ALWAYS there growing up. As they got older the girls quickly became accustomed to the saying "she is going to be your best friend one day".  Deana is always down for a good time, a silent FaceTime, 6am car jam session or a night in on the couch.

The grooms middle sister, Maggie loves a good margarita, yoga, and  Willy T. Maggie is working towards a Masters of Nursing from Rush University and will be a registered nurse when the wedding rolls around. Safe to say just between the bride and her bridesmaids, you're in good hands at this wedding.

Caroline is the grooms youngest sister. A lover of tiramisu, butterflies, and a good photo op, Caroline will probably be the wedding week's "it girl". As the wedding week it girl, she will probably also be the unofficial content creator to put it on her resume when she graduates from the University of South Carolina during the spring semester of 2026.

Marissa will probably tell you all that she is to credit for this entire week long celebration of Gianna and Jimmy, she is right. Marissa is the one that urged Gianna to date Jimmy after some mutual friends mentioned wanting to set the two up. The two quickly became a trio and now a quartet when Marissa met her now husband, Dave. The four now love to have dinner parties and do wine tastings together.

Meghan and Gianna met at their college orientation for x-ray school. The two would not have been friends if her mom didn't convince them to carpool together since they, unknowingly, lived a mile from one another. Although the girls went separate ways professionally, they stay in touch and are in it for the long haul!

Danny is a lover of Jimmy Buffett, saver of lives, a dad of 2, and life of every party he attends. Currently placing bets on how long Danny's shirt will stay on at the reception.

Dan Keegan 

Anthony is the bride's younger brother. As an electrician by day and a professional softball player by night, Anthony is absurdly good at any sport he tries. You will probably find Anthony and Jimmy at the beach playing skip ball, catch, frisbee, or beer darts the morning of the wedding.

Alex is Jimmy's friend from high school. The two played hockey together during their time at Fenwick. They remained friends through the years and Jimmy was in Alex's wedding as well in September of 2023. Alex and his wife Gabby welcomed a beautiful baby girl August of 2024.

Evan and Jimmy met playing hockey when they were in grade school. When they got to high school, Evan spent a lot of his time at the Blair household between early morning practices and late night games. He is the unofficial the fourth Blair child and is not thrilled that Gianna took his spot on Blair family vacations these last 10 years. 

Evan Warder 

Talk about a built in best friend. Keith and Jimmy are cousins but are lucky enough to be great friends. They played hockey together, have been groomsmen together, both went to Fenwick and still continue their Jimmy Buffett shenanigans. Find him if you need a doctor during your visit.

Keith Weissman 

Mike and Jimmy met when Jimmy was an intern at F.H. Paschen and Mike had told him there was no way Jimmy could eat a 3 pound burger from Shoeless Joe's. Jimmy proved him wrong and the rest is history. 

Michael Rickert

Jimmy and Dylan were accidental second semester roommates at Iowa State during their freshmen year of college. The two continue their friendship with occasional video games and plan visits to see each other a few times a year. Whether it is on the back side of a mountain, on the golf course or in their man caves on opposite sides of the country playing Xbox, these two match each others energy like no other.

To get to St. John, you must fly into St. Thomas and take the ferry over to St. John. 

Cyril E  King Airport (STT) 

There will be taxis outside the airport, tell them which ferry you would like to leave from. You want to take a ferry that goes to Cruz Bay and you can leave from either location from St. Thomas. Those locations are Charlotte Amalie or Red Hook. Tip: Buy ferry tickets online before getting to the dock and save to your android or apple wallet for easy access. CHECK FERRY TIMES BEFORE ARRIVING TO THE DOCK!! REMINDER: Make sure your ferry ticket and the location which you tell the taxi driver are the same.•Charlotte Amalie is closer to the airport but a slightly longer ferry ride. (opt for this especially if you get car sick)•Red Hook is longer car ride (full of hills and switchbacks) from the airport but slightly shorter ferry ride. If you know a ton of people on your flight, consider a water taxi from Charlotte Amalie to avoid the wait time for a ferry. CASH ONLY FOR TAXIS. Ferry Prices: One-Way Adult- $8.15, Bag= $4.00 TRAVEL TIP- grab a painkiller from the ferry dock no matter what time of day it is, you’re in the islands... it’s always five o’clock. St Thomas Ferry Dock

The Hills is a group of privately owned condos and villas that have a 5 night minimum stay. Most of the villas will accomodate 2-4 couples which we are happy to help you find within the group. This is a high season for the islands so RSVP and book as soon as you can. Mention the wedding when booking to insure you receive the discount. Villas are already booking up quick (yes, even in 2024), so reserve space sooner rather than later.

The Flamingo house is a rental that is very close to the venue and is one of our favorites. Great views and vibes all around! Flamingo house is about a 5 minute drive from The Hills. This rental is right in the heart of Cruz Bay and is actually just a short (very vertical) walk from the bars and restaurants in town (depending on how much of a challenge you want after dinner and drinks)! There is a 3 bedroom lower level available here for a bigger group! DISCOUNT FOR CASH RENTALS!

The Flamingo House

First off, Gallows Point offers a shuttle service to and from the ferry dock making the beginning and end of your trip smooth. They also provide complimentary car parking if you decide to rent a car. There is a restaurant on the premises along with a pool and jacuzzi. Gallows Point is a quick 5 minute taxi ride to The Hills.

The Westin Resort Villas are a part of the Marriott chain. Staying here should allow you to use a points system if you are part of one through Marriott Bonvoy or credit card points if desired. Booking a stay at The Westin Villas gives you the ability to access some extra amenities such as the private Westin ferry from St. Thomas (you can still take the public ferry), The Westin taxi services, multiple restaurants/ food options, gym, pool, and tennis courts.

Travel

Grab some towels and head to Trunk Bay with your snorkel gear, this quick trail can only be seen in the water. Pack a cooler and spend the day at this stunning beach.

EXPERIENCED BOATERS!! Pack a cooler, some snacks and snorkel gear! This is a quick way to get around the island and see all of the snorkel spots and beautiful beaches that St. John has to offer. We highly recommend doing this as we have done it in the past and had the best time. Pictured is a drone shot that Jimmy took from our dinghy day! There are some really cool spots on the island that are much easier to access via the water. A couple are listed below:1) Great Lameshur Bay and Little Lameshur Bay offer a secluded Virgin Islands classic white sand beach, and scattered ruins to explore that would otherwise require a difficult 4 mile hike. 2) Waterlemon Cay debatably has the best snorkeling on the island. The beach is slightly rocky, but you can find a spot to hang in the shade and enjoy a snack on the beach. 3) Tektite Bay offers a visually stunning snorkel through large rock outcroppings. There is less coral at this bay, but it does have larger marine life such as barracuda, tarpons, and large turtles. These are just a few of the hidden gems around the island. Be sure to check out websites like seestjohn.com for other locations off the beaten path.

Rent A Dinghy 

Mongoose junction has plenty of stores to shop for anything from souvenirs to high end jewelry, rum, and art. Check out the Sun Dog Cafe for a painkiller too! Shops in and around Mongoose Junction are where you’d want to grab some snorkel gear for the week if you choose!

Shop 'til You Drop

Vacation starts now! Enjoy a boozy (or not boozy) slushie or popsicles! Shop the stores merch section as soon as you get off the ferry! Irie Pops has anything from sunscreen and sunglasses to towels, flip flops, swimsuits and hats.

Lime Out is a floating taco and margarita bar, located in Coral Bay, that is truly a unique experience. To get to Coral Bay, you can hop a taxi from Cruz Bay (Make sure to get your taxi drivers phone number for the return trip!). If you rent a car, the bay is about a 25 minute drive from Cruz Bay via centerline road. The drive in itself offers phenomenal views of St. John and the surrounding islands. Lovango has all of the things... From outdoor activities at their beach club and pool, hiking to Crescent Beach, to shopping before a sunset waterfront dinner. You can take the Lovango ferry over from St. John (buy tickets ahead) and spend the day, rent a cabana, sit by the pool or just head over for a dinner.

Calypso VI boats are some of a quickest catamarans on the water to maximize your 8 hour boat day. Some of the best experiences the Bride and Groom have had have been on the water, Island hopping from the USVI to BVI. The charter company offers several different packages to explore places like the Virgin Baths, Soggy Dollar, and the Willy T. There are many charter options available from St. John that offer a much more customizable and exclusive boat day. If you want to do a boat day, be sure to do some research before coming down!

St. John may be smaller than it's sister island, St. Thomas, but that doesn't mean that the night life is any less vibrant! Every bar has its own take on the signature drink of the Virgin Islands, the Painkiller, so be sure to report back on your island favorite. Many bars also offer live music and entertainment.
